:: Oh! Hey! I'm Joining ::
I won't say that I'm actually participating on this but I'd say that I am actually celebrating. Here you are, after snaking my way through other people's blogs who loves fantasies (steampunk, urban fantasy, sci-fi) -- I found this. It comes with a meme apparently and so, I'm going to answer it of course.
----------------
Q: Do you snack while you read? If so, favorite reading snack?
A: Of course not. I wouldn't like to dirty my fingers and touching the pages of the book.
Q: Do you tend to mark your books as you read, or does the idea of writing in books horrify you?
A: I'd go with marking my books as I read. With the idea of writing in books totally horrifies me. I am not speaking about superstitions of any kind but, I particularly don't like my book to get dirty or probably ... fucked up.
Q: How do you keep your place while reading a book? Bookmark? Dog-ears?
A: Bookmark, definitely. I would ended up dead when I'm doing those dog-ears to my book.
Q: Laying the book flat open?
A: Hell to the No!
Q: Fiction, Non-fiction, or both?
A: Mostly fiction. Non-fiction can be great too but no.
Q: Hard copy or audiobooks?
A: Hard copy. Audiobooks are fun as well.
Q: Are you a person who tends to read to the end of chapters, or are you able to put a book down at any point?
A: I certainly am a person who tends to read to the end of chapters but putting a book down at any point is just optional.
Q: If you come across an unfamiliar word, do you stop to look it up right away?
A: Nope. I'll have to jolt it down somewhere or somehow.
Q: What are you currently reading?
A: Sabriel by Garth Nix.
Q: What is the last book you bought?
A: Sabriel and Lirael both by Garth Nix.
Q: Are you the type of person that only reads one book at a time or can you read more than one at a time?
A: One book at a time please. Though I have done several times reading two books at a time.
Q: Do you have a favorite time of day and/or place to read?
A: Of course there is! Every Friday is favorite day. And as for a place, perhaps in a very comfortable Library or underneath an oak tree will be nice.
Q: Do you prefer series books or stand alone books?
A: Series all the way. Fuckyeahseriesbooks!
Q: Is there a specific book or author that you find yourself recommending over and over?
A: Well.. Yes and No. Depends on the person however. People have different types of tastes so the author I'm recommending is Trudi Canavan and Mike Wilks.
Q: How do you organize your books? (By genre, title, author’s last name, etc.?)
A: I don't organize them according to the genre or any of the above. I arranged them according to their timelines (or the size of the book). For example like my J.R.R. Tolkien collections. The Children of Húrin is a long book than the ordinary one so I had to put it at the front and then came the first one, The Silmarillion. The list goes until the end of the series itself: The Silmarillion, The War Of The Ring, The History of Middle-Earth, The Hobbit, LOTR: Fellowship of The Ring, LOTR: Two Towers, LOTR: Return Of The King. Then came Mario Puzo's...
